They can't stop you. Only YOU can stop yourself.
Oftentimes in our quest to succeed we come across different kinds of people who say a whole lot of things to discourage/discredit us. the mistake we make is that we let these things take root in our spirit, so deep that we begin to believe them and possibly live by them and BOOM! thats how we limit ourselves and get stuck in life.
Now let me break it to you sweet-pea.... Nobody great and successful in this life ever got to where they are without having people and situations at different times trying to discourage or reject them. The truth is people will always come along who will make you feel 'you are not good enough, will never be good enough' and you don't fit in.
Here is the trick "you either believe it and wallow in self pity" tell yourself oh! I'm not good enough... Nobody wants me .... I'm such a looser in life, and go on and on OR you can do what Oprah Winfrey did, King David Of the Bible, Abraham Lincoln, (let me bring it home), Tiwa Savage, Timi Dakolo, Genevieve Nnaji, etc. the list is inexhaustible.
Oprah from being fired and rejected from a television production for not being fit for TV to becoming an authority and one of the most powerful women ... Timi Dakolo from being rejected from a choir in Port-Harcourt reason his voice not good enough, to becoming One of the most powerful voice in town. I like it how Adekunle Gold put it from a Rejected contestant in MTNproject fame to becoming a celebrity guest artist on that same show.
Now here is the point am trying to make "the rejections, turn downs, discouragements etc weren't and are not meant to stop you or even slow you down. use them as a forge or spur to push harder and through, but they will stop you if you let them. take your rejections and make something good of them.
Now hear this IN THIS LIFE IT IS NOT ABOUT HOW GOOD YOU ARE ( of course we must all keep working to improve ourselves), yes it is not solely about your abilities, Grace carries us all... YES "the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, time and chance happens to them all.
Regardless of what people say or what you face, don't stop, march on and never quit. who knows you just might be what the world has been waiting for. have a wonderful day my darling.
