It was indeed a very busy and eventful weekend as usual but this time with some sugar! Valentine!!! I hope y'all had so-much fun as much as I did. I was going to write about this sweet love story I found online sometime ago but I couldn't even blog because the activities the weekend was swarming, But Val is over won't stop me o from blogging about this incredible love story. so read and enjoy sweet-pea.
In 2011 a couple (boy and girl friend) deeply in love from Australia encountered a big "unfortunate happening". Turia Pitt the Lady was caught in a bushfire ( trapped by a grassfire in a 100 kilometre ultra-marathon in the Kimberley) she suffered burns to 80 % of her body and had four fingers from her left hand and her right thumb amputated. Her once beautiful face was disfigured. she spent more than two years in hospital.
Now the sweetest part, Michael Hoskin the boyfriend Not only stood strongly by her but personally all those years in the hospital took care of her. He had to resign so as to take care of her. here is the part that got me soo gushy!!
In an interview for CNN they asked Michael: "Did you at any moment think about leaving her and hiring someone to take care of her and moving on with your life?"
His reply touched the world: "I married her soul, her character, and she’s the only woman that will continue to fulfill my dreams."
Today they are Engaged to be married. when asked He said he had Purchased the diamond ring 4years back while Turia was still in the hospital.
Same thing that the devil planned for the motivational former model's destruction God has turned to her advantage. Today She has gone on to be named NSW Premier's Woman of the Year and she was a finalist for Young Australian of the Year.
This is what I speak of when we encounter difficulty don't loose faith rather gain faith. It wasn't meant for your destruction, if you stay positive it will thrust you on a new level of your destiny. the devil may lit the fire but God has his hand on the furnace control. you may wonder why did God allow it to happen at all. If he didn't how else will you learn. how else will you attain the fullness of your destiny, how else are we going to know about this great couple and that true love exits still + they are famous and rich now (yeah look at the bright side) there are lessons and miracles that can only be learnt /wrought through experiences.
